Woodrow Wilson - 1913-1921
-Along with Taft and Roosevelt, Wilson is the third in a string of progressive reformers
-Under pressure from the women's organizations of the early 20th century, Wilson passes laws prohibiting child labor. His second term also sees ratification of the 19th amendment
-Despite his campaign platform of "He Kept Us Out of War," at the beginning of his second term the United States enters World War I
-This entry signals a change in policy, as Wilson's decision was made based on morality and idealism, not national interest
-Personally helps negotiate the Treaty of Versailles, ending World War I
-Uses his plan of Fourteen Points
-Suffers a stroke in 1921 and disappears from national politics for the rest of his life
