Benjamin Harrison - 1889-1893
-Grandson of William Harrison, the president who served the least time in office
-One of few presidents to be elected without a popular majority
-Campaigns on the platform of continued tariff support, the only substantive difference between himself and Cleveland
-Harrison signs the Sherman Antitrust Act into law in 1890
-Hosts the first Pan American Conference in 1889
-Proposes a treaty to annex Hawaii that same year
-Supports internal improvements and shipping expansion, causing Congress to appropriate over one billion dollars for the first time, giving it the moniker of the, "Billion Dollar Congress"
